Star Trek repaints

Ok, Ok its not Star Wars (episode 7 opens in theaters today!), but I needed an update for this week and these are next in line. A commission done back in 2014. The idea was to repaint the ships in colors more accurate to the clients specifications. Not a whole lot of extra detail done, but going more for tabletop quality. These ships are from Wizkids line of Star Trek Attack Wing game. Lets take a look!

Until next time.

Farrow Power

Welcome back!

Another week, another blog post update! This week is a short one, but covers two of the Farrow characters for the Minions army from Hordes by Privateer Press. These were another project completed last year, and just now getting around to posting.

Helga the Conqueror

Painted to a quick tabletop standard, this Warlock is ready for battle using some colors from Cygnar army.

Maximus

Maximus is a solo warrior that the client had his own base for. He also wanted the blood spewed everywhere, hence the gore splattered upon the...everywhere.

Currently, painting wise, I am working on the newest release for Minions, the Meat Thrasher! Although at the same time I am attempting to finish up some Stormcast Eternals for an Age of Sigmar game coming up. Also the  Hoarluk Doomshaper epic model, and...lol, you get the idea.

Until next time readers, keep them drybrushes dry, and the wet blends wet.

Time in the West

Welcome back readers!

Its been a while, but life has been busy (as usual). I have accumulated soooo much painting and the backlog is even bigger now! I still have some great pictures to show you from this year, and even back from 2014! No doubt it will even span into next year as we are 30 days away from that. I thank you if your still reading these updates, or even visiting here from time to time.

This week we will take a look into some western style miniatures from Gang Fight Games for their game, Blackwater Gulch. This batch was a commission for a local, and I think we all know who they are supposed to be, but let me introduce the...

Nice right? Lets take a look at each member closer.

With the bases, I used your basic sand grit and Secret Weapon Pigments layered and dry-brushed to represent the mud earth they may come upon in the old west. After this commission, I did pick up a gang box of all ladies for myself, but have yet to get around to painting them. The sculpts for the game are nice and they even have other "iconic" figures in the set.

Lets hope my next update comes quicker, I have plenty to show what I have been up to!
