Whats new pussy cat?

Welcome back followers!

     This week I have a treat of a model I had for some time meow, an oldie from SodaPop Miniatures.
I fist picked this up a few years ago, when the game was just a rumor and they had these resin models for sale, something drew me to him and the Iron Chef was picked up. As with most of my miniatures it took a few years to make its way to the desk and painted.

     Im not 100% fond of resin models, so they take extra long to make it to the table. Over the summer, before Relic Knights Kickstarter made its way to my door I painted him up with eager delicacy. Lets take a look::

 The stripes on this feisty feline were hand painted freestyle.

Quite fun to assemble and paint up. I did get my Relic Knights Kickstarter shipment in, but they are waiting in the background. Plenty of projects sitting in wait ahead of them. Plus, since we are going over all this stuff I have to share before I get to them.

Summer is over

Welcome back! My summer was busy, so apologies for the delay of any posts here. ALOT of things have happened and painting was done, and more things happened, but enough of that. I return with a  solo piece I had to paint once I saw it.

 Chandra Spec-Ops. A solo model for the Aleph army from Infinity; a game by Corvus Belli. Base is by Secret Weapon Miniatures.

 Since I dont really play this faction (I went Nomads, more later), I went for a color scheme I wanted to try for a long time, but needed the right figure to do it.

My first step back into freehand, the faction logo turned out pretty good if I say so myself (and I do).

This view was just for a show of the base. Again, by Secret Weapon Miniatures (who make an awesome assortment of items for our hobby). She stands so cocky there....

Well thats todays upload. More are on the way, we kind of went "crazy" this summer at our LGS. So I grabbed up some Nomads for Infinity, and Pirates for Freebooters Fate, more Cryx and some Cygnar for Warmachine, and a slew of random minitures from random companies. We will see how good I am at posting these, but more are on the way!

Hasslefree Zombicide

Well back again. Hope everyone had a fun, safe, Independence Day celebration (4th of July here in the states).

This time, I am going to bring you 2 figures from Hasslefree miniatures that I am using for some Zombicide figures, notably the survivor version. They are the perfect size for playing as a survivor, not to mention great sculpts.

Now I will admit, I got Dynamic Ray to use as Shaun (from Shaun of the Dead) before Zombicide 2 Kickstarter happened, but I am still using him as an alternative model. Zombie Hunter Kev is for my personal character I made stats for, his name is Tyrone and he is good business.

Super Dungeon Explore heroes pt1

Welcome back! 

Today we are going to look at some of my personal Super Dungeon Explore figures from Soda Pop Miniatures (finally). I love this chibi look, and they are a nice change of pace to paint; Not to mention its a great fun game for all ages!

I am almost finished with the majority of the heroes, just need to start working on a slew of the minions and baddies I have sitting around. There are also the mini-bosses and anti-heroes, spawn points, and a boss or two....so I should get to painting!

Almaran the Gold

Almaran the Gold, a paladin and another figure from Reaper Bones line of miniatures. Another commission piece done for the same client as Action Jackson.

I need to work on my OSL, but this wasn't the piece for it. The afro was added using green stuff putty, and if you look closely at his nose, that was modified as well. His feet were cut free from the original base and added to a 25mm square base so he could be used for an RPG character.

Time for Action...

Action Jackson! From the Reaper Bones line of miniatures, this was a commission piece done with a little modification so the client could use the miniature for his Zombicide character.

The machete and uzi were taken off a Zombicide character and added so he wouldn't feel left out.  Now we have a black 70's action star ready to battle the hordes of zombies.

This is what I love about the Reaper Bones miniature line. Figures done on the cheap with great detail, ready to be painted and used to whatever ends you wish.

Super Commissions for Super Dungeon Explore
